A-Hole Girl
First appearance: December 17 2005
The Two A-Holes first appeared in the "Buying a Christmas Tree" sketch on the December 2005 Jack Black episode. Several sketches featuring the characters followed.
Jason Sudeikis and Kristen Wiig play a nameless self-absorbed couple who repeatedly make outlandish requests, such as a fifty-foot Christmas tree, to the chagrin of those around them. Kristen's character is fond of claiming somebody looks like a "rabbit" and answering "wha?" to every question.
Inspiration
In the Best of SNL 2006-2007 DVD, Jason and Kristen's audio commentary revealed the sketch sprang from being up all night writing sketches, and chewing gum to stay awake. Kristen says she didn't want to write, so she began talking like the a-holes.
Quotes
"We want a baby with eyeballs."
"I like to win stuff I don't need."
"This baby doesn't look like Santa."
"It would if a baby stole it." (on whether a stolen car would make the news)
"Do you know Inspector Gadget?"
